WWE has apparently resolved the trademark issue with Jey Uso’s “YEET” catchphrase
As previously noted, a Jey Uso video package aired during the December 4th 2023 edition of WWE RAW and fans took notice that Jey’s “YEET” t-shirt was blurred out. It was reported that WWE abandoned usage of the term as it had been trademarked in 2021 by independent wrestler Kasey Huffman.
It appears that WWE has resolved the trademark issue. At Saturday night’s WWE live event Utica, New York, Jey was once again wearing his “YEET” t-shirt and he wrote “it’s back” on his Instagram story. Jey also posted “YEET!!!” on December 8th via @TheUsos Twitter/X account.
