Match for the 2023 WWE Survivor Series PLE gets changed during 11/24/23 edition of Smackdown

During the November 24th 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown, there was a verbal confrontation between Santos Escobar and Carlito that turned into a brawl. Referees tried to separate them but then Santos struck Carlito with a cheap shot from behind.

Backstage, Santos continued to attack Carlito and targeted the arm. Dragon Lee ended up making the save for Carlito.

In a later segment, Smackdown general manager Nick Aldis said Carlito was in no condition to wrestle against Santos at Survivor Series. Lee then approached Aldis about taking Carlito’s spot and Aldis approved it.
