Results of Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear 2023

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Jon Moxley for the International title took place at AEW Full Gear 2023. Here are the highlights…

* The fight quickly went to the outside and Moxley took firm control. Back in the ring, a determined Moxley continued to deliver offense. Cassidy tried to fight back and Moxley responded by trash talking.

* Cassidy got the upper hand with numerous headbutts and Moxley was busted open. Cassidy then delivered a superplex. Moxley got up to his feet and Cassidy flipped him off. The two ended up back on the outside and Cassidy hit three dives to Moxley.

* Back in the ring, Moxley regained control with multiple punches to Cassidy followed by the bulldog choke. Cassidy escaped and applied Hook’s Redrum submission but Moxley escaped while exposing the top turnbuckle. There were dueling “let’s go Moxley/Freshly squeezed” chants.

* Moxley mocked Cassidy’s punches and Cassidy responded by putting his hands in his pockets. Moxley charged at Cassidy but missed and hit the exposed turnbuckle. Cassidy hit six orange punches followed by beach break to pick up the victory.
