Plans uncertain for a rumored match at the 2023 AEW Full Gear PPV event

The Young Bucks won a match at the 2023 AEW WrestleDream PPV to become #1 contenders for the tag team titles. Another match against FTR was rumored for the Full Gear PPV but then FTR lost the tag titles to Ricky Starks and Big Bill.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the belief is that “everything has changed” in regards to plans for the tag team titles match at Full Gear. Up to this point, the Bucks have not teased a match for the tag team titles on television.

Meltzer discussed the matter during Wrestling Observer Radio…

“The last I heard is that they may do Ricky Starks and Big Bill against the Young Bucks at Full Gear, but that’s not official. It was just one of many different things that was thrown out there. We’ll have to see how this all turns out.” (quote courtesy of RingsideNews.com)
