A potential new opponent for Cody Rhodes teased during WWE live event over the weekend

At Saturday night’s WWE live event in Palm Springs, CA, Cody Rhodes defeated NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio in a non-title street fight. Cody was attacked by Omos (with MVP) during the match but managed to still pick up the victory.

WWE occasionally sets up storylines at live events so it remains to be seen if Cody will end up working against Omos on television. At this time, Cody does not have a match booked for the 2023 Fastlane PLE.
