News regarding Lana’s final months with WWE prior to release

In regards to Lana’s final months with WWE prior to her release, Fightful Select noted that both Lana and Naomi were apparently following up with the WWE creative team about storyline ideas. The site stated the following about plans for Lana in early 2021…

“There were significantly different plans for Lana earlier this year before Charlotte’s return, but we’re told that Vince McMahon personally assured her that wouldn’t be the end of the Lana character and they’d have more for her.”

Natalya recently commented in an interview about how Lana would fly in for sessions at her training facility to improve in the ring.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com wrote the following about WWE deciding which babyface tag team they wanted to keep on the RAW brand…

“In the end, the decision was between Naomi & Lana and Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, the team they decided to keep was Rose & Brooke.”

Since being released, Lana tweeted about her husband Miro being the AEW TNT Champion…
