WWE reportedly has “a long-term main roster idea” for a tag team that has been working in NXT
Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo recently returned to the NXT brand after only having a few matches on the WWE main roster in 2023. The team appeared to be on the verge of going their separate ways after losing to Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer during the July 18th edition of NXT.
In regards to the team’s future, Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com noted the following…
“There is a long-term main roster idea for them as a babyface tag team. The idea using their grandfather (as opposed to Hector Garza, Angel’s father, who was actually the biggest star in the family) to establish them as authentic Mexican babyfaces with the idea their grandfather was a superstar.”
The team’s reunion has already been teased on NXT television and social media…
