Former WWE star released in 2021 has reportedly been “under a deal” with the company

Former WWE star Tyler Breeze was released from the company in 2021. According to Fightful Select, Breeze has reportedly been “under a deal with WWE specifically tied to the UpUpDownDown brand for quite some time.” According to a WWE source, the deal does prevent him from appearing on AEW programming.

After two years away from the ring, Breeze is scheduled to perform at the Prestige Wrestling Roseland 6 show on September 1st in Portland, Oregon. Fightful added that “those we spoke to put over Breeze’s investments outside of the ring, saying that he was several steps ahead of his wrestling career as far as preparing himself for life outside it. Specifically, he helps run Flatbacks to train wrestlers, and made several smart real estate investments.”
