Results of Jericho Appreciation Society vs. Team Sting at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023

Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) and Minoru Suzuki vs. Sting, Darby Allin, and Naito took place at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. Here are the highlights…

* Sting was wearing his “Joker” facepaint for the first time since he was in Impact Wrestling.

* The match started with Guevara and Naito. Darby and Suzuki went at it for a bit but then Sting tagged in and Jericho begged to be tagged. Jericho came in and traded blows with Sting. Jericho went for a Stinger splash but missed and Sting applied the Scorpion death lock. Guevara came off the top rope with a cutter to break up the submission.

* Darby went for a dive to the outside but Jericho caught him with a Judas Effect. Jericho then pulled a table out from under the ring. Sting was laid out on the table and Guevara put Sting through it with a 630 splash.

* Things broke down and with Sting’s help, Naito was able to pin Suzuki. Jericho attacked Naito with the bat after the match but Sting made the save.
