Breaking news: Mandy Rose has reportedly been released by WWE
As seen during the December 13th 2022 edition of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defeated Mandy Rose to become the new NXT women’s champion. The match was originally supposed to take place at the New Year’s Evil special in January.
On Wednesday afternoon, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted the following…
“Fightful Select has learned that Mandy Rose has been released by WWE. WWE officials felt they were put in a tough position based on the content she was posting on her FanTime page. They felt like it was outside of the parameters of her WWE deal.”
Both Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com confirmed the report as being accurate. Meltzer tweeted, ”There’s a lot to the Mandy Rose firing today and the title change last night was a last minute decision based on the fact she was getting fired and not the original plan.”
