AEW’s Kenny Omega challenged Will Ospreay to a match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4th 2023. Omega’s video promo aired during Sunday’s NJPW X STARDOM Historic X-Over event and Ospreay accepted the challenge. The match will be for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.
