Criminal charges against Jake Atlas have been dropped

As previously noted, Jake Atlas was arrested on May 23rd 2022 and charged with misdemeanor battery.

In an update on the incident, TMZ.com reports that officials are declining to prosecute him and the case has been dropped. TMZ obtained a document that was filed last week which stated “from the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution.”

According to Fightful.com, Atlas was on a per-appearance deal with AEW which was paused after his injury. It’s believed that AEW no longer has any connection to him.
