* Back in the ring, Ospreay slowed the pace down and worked over Cassidy. Ospreay was going to finish off Cassidy but Cassidy collapsed. Ospreay went to deliver more punishment but Cassidy got his hands in his pockets and started to make a comeback. Cassidy did his versions of the Ospreay kicks but then turned up the intensity.

* United Empire got involved again but Cassidy took them out. Cassidy came off the top rope with a DDT but Ospreay kicked out. Cassidy knocked Ospreay into the corner robo-camera. Cassidy hit Beach Break but Ospreay kicked out again.
* Cassidy went for the Orange Punch but Ospreay countered with a cutter. Ospreay hit a lariat and then the Hidden Blade but Cassidy kicked out. Ospreay then hit the Storm-breaker to retain the title.
* Cassidy was attacked after the match until Roppongi Vice made the save. Katsuyori Shibata then arrived and had a physical confrontation with Ospreay. Shibata got the upper hand and Ospreay escaped. Afterwards, Shibata put on Cassidy’s sunglasses.
