WWE NXT star reportedly released due to a “policy issue”
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE released Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan of the D’Angelo family on June 11th. Meltzer stated that “this wasn’t a budget or creative decision, but a policy issue and he was told he may be brought back in a year.”
Donovan, along with Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, defeated Legado del Fantasma at WWE NXT In Your House 2022. Donovan had signed with WWE back in March.
Donovan issued a brief statement…
“Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned. A bump in the road doesn’t define me though. I’ll be back 🐺”
