Video: Gunther captures the Intercontinental title on WWE Smackdown
During the June 10th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown, Gunther defeated Ricochet with a powerbomb to become the new Intercontinental champion. This was Gunther’s first title opportunity since debuting on Smackdown.
As previously reported, Gunther has consistently been impressing “people of influence” within WWE.
