Results of Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match took place at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Rollins was wearing ring gear with Dusty Rhodes polka dots. Rhodes took off his ring jacket and was heavily bruised from a torn pectoral muscle.

* Rhodes hit a disaster kick and a Cody cutter early in the match but couldn’t hit the Cross Rhodes. Rhodes was able to put on the figure four but Rollins managed to escaped after hitting Rhodes with a kendo stick.

* Rollins used the kendo stick right on Rhodes’ pec. Cody managed to fight off the attack but was then sent pec-first into the cage.

* Rhodes was fighting back but then Rollins used the steps on Rhodes’ pec. Rollins put on Rhodes’ ring jacket and then grabbed a polka dot weight belt from under the ring. Rollins used it on Rhodes’ pec.

* Rollins set up a table from under the ring and the crowd chanted “thank you Rollins.” Rollins tried a superplex but Rhodes escaped. Rollins laid on Rhodes on the table. Rollins went for a frogsplash but Rhodes moved and Rollins crashed through the table.

* Rhodes grabbed a bull rope from under the ring and challenged Rollins to put it on. The two battled while tied to the bullrope and Cody got the upper hand when he hit Rollins with the cowbell.

* Rhodes was able to hit Cross Rhodes but Rollins kicked out. Rollins came back and gave Rhodes a buckle bomb through a table but Rhodes kicked out.

* Rollins pulled out a sledgehammer from under the ring. Rhodes managed to hit Rollins with a pedigree but Rollins kicked out. Rhodes tried to use the sledgehammer but got hit with the curb stomp. However, Rhodes was still able to kick out. The crowd erupted in a “this is awesome” chant.

* Rollins hit Rhodes with a Cross Rhodes but Rhodes was able to hit one as well and both men were down. Both reached for the sledgehammer. Rhodes got it but didn’t have the strength to use it. Rhodes hit two more Cross Rhodes and went for the sledgehammer again. Rhodes hit Rollins with it and scored the pinfall victory.
