The latest regarding Cesaro’s time off from wrestling and his future in the business
As previously noted, Cesaro’s WWE contract expired earlier in 2022 as the two sides were not able to come to terms on a new deal.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that Cesaro is currently is taking time off for family reasons as he has a young child at home. While Cesaro is currently laying low, it’s believed that he recently trademarked the term CSRO (along with a logo) in case he doesn’t return to WWE. At this time, it’s unknown if AEW has made Cesaro an offer but Tony Khan did speak highly of him earlier this year.
Meltzer also noted the following…
“The only thing we know is he’s been in talks with Conrad Thompson about doing Starrcast and according to those close to him, has at least considered other projects that he wouldn’t be allowed to do if he returned to WWE.”
