2022 Blood and Guts match challenge issued during AEW Dynamite

During the June 1st 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite, the Jericho Appreciation Society was cutting a promo about their victory at AEW Double or Nothing when Eddie Kingston interrupted. Kingston wanted another fight and William Regal brought up a Blood and Guts match. A fight broke out and Ortiz ended up cutting off a piece of Chris Jericho’s hair.

Jericho got on the mic and said he would accept the Blood and Guts challenge if Ortiz would face him in a hair vs. hair match.

It was later confirmed that the Blood and Guts match will take place on the June 29th edition of Dynamite in Detroit, MI.
