A flight out of Las Vegas reportedly booked for MJF after he no-shows AEW Fan Fest
As previously noted, MJF no-showed his scheduled meet-and-greet appearance during AEW’s Fan Fest on Saturday.
It was independently confirmed by F4WOnline.com that the no-show was “legitimate and not a work.” Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com wrote the following…
“I can confirm a flight out of Las Vegas tonight has been booked for MJF. I’m not going to disclose when/where the flight is scheduled for or is set to go, but I’ll do what I can to find out if he boards/boarded it.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com later confirmed Fightful’s report…
”A source close to the situation confirmed to PWInsider.com that a red-eye flight to Newark, NJ has indeed been booked, but whether he gets on the flight or not remains to be seen. Obviously, AEW and MJF have quite a bridge to cross before Double or Nothing.”
Sapp added that the situation between MJF and AEW “isn’t seeming pleasant” but MJF is “physically okay.” MJF was scheduled to face Wardlow at the 2022 Double or Nothing PPV but his status for the event is unknown. People within AEW aren’t talking about the situation other than saying communication between AEW and MJF is at an all-time low. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted the following…
”As far as what’s happening with MJF, it appears anyone who knows isn’t talking and the rest have no idea what’s going on. No clue at this point whether he will be on the show tomorrow.”
MJF’s last Twitter activity was on Friday when he shared a report about his segment on AEW Dynamite being the most-viewed of the show…
