Update on Shane McMahon’s WWE status heading into Wrestlemania 38
As previously noted, it was reported Shane McMahon was quietly “let go” from WWE after receiving backstage heat for his producing work during the men’s 2022 Royal Rumble match.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE is bringing in Shane for the Wrestlemania 38 weekend. Johnson wrote that “there is no word at this time whether McMahon will be appearing on the PPV yet but we are told he will be in town for the entire Wrestlemania weekend.” Johnson added that it was believed Shane would eventually return in some form once the heat from the Rumble died down.
Shane was reportedly the original opponent for Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania.
I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Scott Hall, a singular talent and in my view, perhaps the greatest to ever preform in the squared circle.
I will miss you, my friend.
