The latest regarding Miro’s status with AEW

In regards to why Miro hasn’t competed in AEW since the 2021 Full Gear PPV event, Fightful.com is reporting that he is recovering from a hamstring injury which he has been dealing with for a few months.

Miro worked through the injury as a last-minute substitute for Jon Moxley in the World Title eliminator tournament. Miro defeated Orange Cassidy on the November 3rd 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite and then lost to Bryan Danielson at the Full Gear PPV. Miro’s leg was taped up during those matches.

Since the PPV, AEW has aired vignettes hyping up Miro’s return. In the latest video, Miro vowed to come back with “no flaws.”
