Video: What happened with Cody Rhodes after AEW Rampage finished taping (spoiler)

After the December 22nd 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite went off the air, matches were taped for the special December 25th (Saturday night at 9PM Eastern) edition of Rampage. In the main event, Cody Rhodes defeated Sammy Guevara to capture the TNT Title for a 3rd time. Click here for additional match spoilers.

Cody cut a promo after the Rampage taping ended. Cody started by talking about how his “heel” was hurting. Cody asked the fans about AEW returning to Greensboro, NC and then invited AEW President Tony Khan to the ring. Khan brought David Crockett with him and Crockett shook Cody’s hand.

Hook also came to the ring and Cody teased a match between the two of them for AEW’s return to Greensboro.
