Big E defended the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley in a steel cage match to end the September 27th 2021 edition of RAW. Earlier in the show, the reunited Hurt Business interfered in Big E’s first match against Lashley.

Big E retained his title against Lashley in a competitive steel cage match. Afterwards, Drew McIntyre appeared on the stage and pointed his sword at Big E. Now that Lashley is no longer the WWE Champion, McIntyre can challenge for the WWE Title again.
