Update on Pete Dunne’s future in the wrestling business

Last month, it was reported that Pete Dunne’s WWE contract was close to expiring.

While there was internet speculation about Dunne possibly joining AEW, it appears that he will be staying with WWE. Fightful Select is reporting that Dunne has agreed to a long term contract with the company. Dunne reportedly agreed to a new three year deal and it’s believed that the contract was personally offered to Dunne by Triple H.

Dunne is scheduled to wrestle on tonight’s WWE NXT episode in a fatal four-way match to crown a new NXT champion. Dunne and Ridge Holland recently turned against their teammates Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan.
