While appearing on Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, Charlotte Flair was asked about how things are going with her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Charlotte stated the following…

“He’s good. I mean, here’s the thing. I still even struggle with TikTok and Reels, and it takes me a very long time, or editing, or yada yada yada. But the amount that we fight about his social media, I cannot tell you. It is a daily thing.

And then I’m like, ‘Why are you in all caps? Why are you yelling at me in your post?’

But here’s what I’ve learned.

So, I was talking to Nattie the other day, and she just said something like—she was talking about Bret, and I was talking about my dad, and we were just yapping back and forth. And she was like, ‘You know what?’ She goes, ‘He’s earned that right to have an opinion.'”

Charlotte continued…

“Also, I have to tell him daily that an AI image is not real. He has sent me pictures of him and other people. And I’m like, ‘That didn’t happen. That’s not real. That’s AI.’

I know he is my biggest fan. But if he would just let me manage his social…”

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair commented on being paired with Alexa Bliss in a tag team. Here is what Charlotte had to say…

“Do I agree that I should be a main attraction? Yes. Do I think that I should be looked at and marketed like that champion that you’re thinking? Yes. But I think being in this tag, whether it’s slow or not for some of my fans, I think there is a bigger picture that I’m going to keep working towards. Keep fighting for that.

So, in me being able to be comedic with Lexi [Alexa] or in the tag or working with so many different characters, and I don’t want to say underdog, but I’m kind of like, am I kind of like an underdog right now?

I think it’s just showing that vulnerability and showing that, like, hey, I don’t need to have a main [event]. Like, I’m interesting. And I think people just got, like, how do you relate to being great? But they just didn’t realize, like, what it took and the sacrifice to, like, hey, I’m a character, but I was actually really good at being bad and it was almost too good at being bad.”

Over the weekend, it was announced that eight-year-old WWE fan Scarlett Guillen had passed away following a battle with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Charlotte Flair, who built a personal connection with Scarlett, issued the following statement via Twitter/X…

“Thank you for the light you brought into my life.

I’ll never forget the day MJ texted me and told me he had a little fan with him who wanted to meet me. At a time when I was feeling sorry for myself, you gave me something so much greater than I could have ever given you. You gave me perspective. You taught me courage, gratitude, joy, and how precious every single moment truly is. Those lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life.

To Kim and Isiah, watching the way you loved Scarlett through the hardest chapter imaginable has forever changed me. Even on the darkest days, you made sure she had something to smile about, something to look forward to, and a life filled with laughter, hope, and unconditional love. The strength, grace, and selflessness you have shown as parents is beyond inspiring. I hope that one day I can be even half the parent you both are. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful family, for letting me love Scarlett and Ellena, and for giving me memories I will cherish forever. You’re family now… you’re stuck with me.

To Ellena, from one big sister to another you will carry Scarlett with you forever. She will always be a part of who you are, and I know you’ll honor her in everything you do. The love you have for your little sister is something that can never be taken away. Now you’re my little sister too, kiddo, and I can’t wait to watch you grow into the incredible young woman Scarlett already knew you would become. I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

And to you, Scarlett…

You reminded all of us that a life isn’t measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind.

Your light doesn’t end here. It lives on in your family, your friends, and in every heart you touched. It lives on in every butterfly that makes someone stop and smile, and in every diamond that catches the light.

You will always be our butterfly. You will always be our diamond girl.

You are loved beyond words, and you will never, ever be forgotten.

Forever. ”

The wrestling community is mourning the loss of eight-year-old Scarlett Guillen, who has passed away following a battle with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Scarlett became known to WWE fans through a WWE community outreach program, where she developed a close friendship with Charlotte Flair that continued beyond the cameras. Charlotte honored Scarlett by wearing entrance gear inspired by her at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 and dedicated her WrestleMania 42 entrance attire to Scarlett and her fight against cancer.

Scarlett’s family shared the following tribute on her GoFundMe page…

“Our hearts are shattered beyond words. After an incredibly courageous battle with DMG, our beautiful daughter Scarlett has gained her angel wings. She was only eight years old, yet she touched more lives than many people do in a lifetime.

Scarlett was the light of every room she entered. She had the funniest personality, a contagious laugh, and a smile that could brighten even the darkest days. She was strong, determined, silly, and full of love. She had a way of making everyone around her laugh.

Being Scarlett’s parents has been the greatest honor of our lives. Every moment with her was a gift. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven running around making new friends and back on the softball field.

Throughout Scarlett’s journey, our family has been surrounded by an incredible community of love and support. From every prayer, every message, every meal, every donation, every act of kindness, you all have carried us through the unimaginable.

There are simply no words that can express how grateful we are. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are asking for help with Scarlett’s funeral and memorial expenses so we can give her the beautiful farewell she deserves. Any contribution, no matter what the amount, will help ease the financial burden during this devastating time. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and consider sharing Scarlett’s story.

Our precious Scarlett will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be our greatest blessing.”

While speaking to Ringer Wrestling, WWE star Charlotte Flair commented on how much it costs to have her ring robes made…

“My WrestleMania robe last year [41] was just—I think it was almost like 15 grand by the time it was done because I kept revisioning. Every single one is not that price, but they are a couple thousand dollars. They vary. You got to ship it to this person, to that person because one person stones it, one person does the feathers.

I really wanted to come back different from the knee injury. I did this whole pitch where I wanted to come back with dark hair and the black robe and be the dark evil queen. And that just obviously did not happen. Because I was like, when you think of the name Flair, it’s synonymous with blonde. So how could I come back?

I really tried to change the robe so you just didn’t get classic Charlotte Flair. And I feel like they’re a little different. But a lot of that was trial and error. Like I’d have a robe made and then it was like—I have one that was made for me last year that I actually put online and I was like, ‘Hey guys, should I make this different?’ Where this woman who stones my gear that lives in New York City, she’s going to try to switch it up a little bit because it’s too classic Charlotte, where I’ve really tried to be into rainbows and butterflies. I do put a lot of effort into all of that stuff. I really do because my dad always said ‘dress for the part you want.’”

WWE stars announced for meet-and-greets at the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Festival event include Charlotte Flair, The Miz, Trick Williams, The Usos, Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, and Bron Breakker. UFC Freedom 250 will be taking place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC.

While speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, Charlotte commented on the news…

“I saw the announcement online. I knew I had a signing. They’re like, ‘Yeah, you have a signing on what date?’ And I was like, ‘Okay, sure.’ And then I saw online, and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I’m in a UFC fight. Great.’

I saw online and then I was like, ‘Well, I guess I won’t be wearing my queen outfit that I had.’ I had my spray-painted, bedazzled outfit that I was going to wear to the signing because it was just a signing. And then I saw it said ‘White House signing.’ I’m like, ‘So, are we going to the White House?’ I really did not know what we were doing until I saw it on Twitter.”

While speaking to Ariel Helwani this week, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair commented on his daughter Charlotte’s match at WrestleMania 42. Ric claimed that he “didn’t like her match at all.”

In a post via Twitter/X, Ric clarified his remarks…

“I want to make something very clear to everyone after yesterday’s podcast with Ariel Helwani.

Number one: I’m more than thrilled to see Charlotte wrestling with her friend Alexa Bliss. I’ve never seen her happier, so let’s clear that up.

Number two: I enjoyed her in singles matches because I feel like she is able to put more of her talent on display.

Number three: no one will ever criticize, make any attempt to judge my daughters, or say anything about them.

Number four: I wish we could all just put everything behind us. Please don’t report something on me unless it’s 100% true.

Thank you. May we all continue to be successful, and for so many of us, as we grow older, there may be no tomorrow. May peace and friendship be with us all. Let’s go back to being the brotherhood that we once were—that was so sacred at one time.”

It’s WrestleMania. As a kid we went bonkers for this. Our best memories came from here.

Let’s get to it.

Unsanctioned Match

Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu

For the life of me, why do they use the word ‘unsanctioned’? “No Holds Barred or “Street Fight”. That simple.

It does have the potential to upstage the card on night 1, which they might need if the main event doesn’t tickle the fans fancy. It does make for a good story, Drew’s gotta do Highlander, and Jacob is a main eventer in waiting. The Scotsman got the title before as a compensation of sorts, and maybe he won’t be a heel when he returns.

Winner: Jacob Fatu

The Vision and IShowSpeed vs. The Usos and LA Knight

The celebrity match. It’s bound to be pretty solid. Not a show stealer exactly, but it’ll get fans warmed up for the rest of the night. Plus with Logan Paul in there, high spots!

Winners: The Usos and LA Knight

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar

Ah yes, is Suplex City about to get demolished, or at least get wrecked good? I recall 11 years ago the beating Roman Reigns took, who kept coming back for more. Now this doesn’t need to be a repeat of Goldberg destroying him, but Lesnar should take the ‘L’ since he’s been built up as a force who can take this one.

Winner: Oba Femi

Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio

Three years ago, we saw the Demon last. Edge insisted on giving Balor the ‘W’ but Vinnie Mac wasn’t having it.

We likely won’t, but shouldn’t we get a moment involving Balor, Priest, and Ripley? Maybe Balor gets Dominik’s betrayal rubbed in his face only for him to remind them they turned the prodigal son into a bastard. I wish Rey Mysterio would – just once – confront one of them.

Whoever wins, the Demon needs to look like a force.

Winner: Finn Balor

Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Becky Lynch vs AJ Lee (C)

They took Bayley off the card last year for her benefit. Becky needs to be the one to lose. Also, you might’ve heard the rumors on a certain pale looking British lady about to make a comeback. How fitting would it be if AJ lost her title to Paige.

I’d say this will be a solid one, and AJ needs a big win in Vegas. Also, Becky could use a change in character.

Winner: AJ Lee

Women’s Tag Team Championships

Fatal Four Way match

The Bellas (maybe) vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. Charlotte and Alexa Bliss vs. The Irresistible Forces (C)

Perhaps they should’ve made a Gauntlet match to squeeze a few more women on the card, but hey, I’m not running this show.

Their plan with Charlotte and Alexa must be a feud, which might have happened sooner if they didn’t catch on as a team. With her having missed last year for Becky’s benefit, it’s Bayley’s time.

Will they ever sign Izzy?

Winner: Bayley and Lyra

Intercontinental Championship

Ladder Match

Je’Von Evans vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Penta (C)

Gee, six guys and some ladders, I’m sure this won’t be too exciting.

How much more abuse can Rey take? There’s enough talent in the ring to send the fans home happy, and the chance for a Mexican Destroyer to end them all, well…

Winner: Je’Von Evans

United States Championship

Trick Williams vs. Sami Zayn (C)

Do we smell a double turn? You might call bulls***, but they knew what they were doing having Sami win. Trick Williams is headed for a turn, and Zayn needs a refresh bad.

Winner: Trick Williams

Women’s World Championship

Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer (C)

Balor being kicked out means the Judgment Day’s golden age members are almost gone. Is Liv next? With how pitched this rivalry has been, it could steal the show. Plus, if Liv takes the ‘L’, it’ll likely be to botched interference from Raquel and/or Roxanne.

As much as Morgan deserves the win, they’ve been pushing Stephanie hard. Coin flip.

Winner: Liv Morgan

WWE Women’s Championship

Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill (C)

I don’t wanna be “that guy”, but as much as Jade should lose it, Ripley winning it might not be a good move. She’s been pushed hard, and if they’re not careful, the fans will turn on her because, well they would.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

WWE Championship

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes (C)

We’re here now.

Is it really WCW in 2000 bad? Well, maybe, but in time history will be the judge.

The build towards Night 1’s main event, yeah, it’s been mostly a miss, but I can’t help but feel the haters wouldn’t be so down on it if it happened say, in ‘23 or ‘24. Yes, it was a case of creative not reading the room and needlessly turning Randy Orton heel. The less said about Pat McAfee, the better.

There is the Jelly Roll question. If he’s around, how will it go down?

Cody finished the story two years ago. The haters now couldn’t care less.

Winner: Randy Orton

World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk (C)

The match that will close Night 2, will it be a 5 star classic? Maybe. Both of these guys can deliver, but if Reigns wins, what then?

Roman keeps “returning” so much. He’s gotta be on TV enough to make the gold mean something, assuming they’re leaning towards Oba Femi or maybe Gunther dethroning him at SummerSlam. Either way, we’re looking at a potential classic.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Here’s some final thoughts.

All these calls for Vince McMahon to return and save the business, where was this sentiment four years ago? When boneheaded mistakes like the 2019 Hell in a Cell main event were still lingering in our heads? What about the torn up scripts? Aborted plots? Just before he resigned the first time a Smackdown only had 13 MINUTES of wrestling on a 2 hour show.

TKO don’t care much about the fans, but neither did Vince.

The IWC can’t see past the high ticket prices and the ESPN deal, but of course, let’s bring Vince back, and forget he only put women’s wrestling in the spotlight because Triple H made him. Vince says the ring is sacred, but he clearly didn’t think his marriage is, or that one shouldn’t pass women around like they’re candy.

I won’t even talk about NXT.

Order some pizzas and enjoy it. It only comes around once a year.

Don’t mess with the X.

While speaking to Sam Roberts, WWE star Charlotte Flair commented on what things were like when she made her main roster debut in 2015…

“Well, I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s like you had to change in a specific place. There were unwritten rules, and we hadn’t main evented WrestleMania, we hadn’t main evented pay-per-views, we hadn’t main evented RAW for three weeks in a row—it was just different. You can’t compare, right?

So like now when you come in, it’s just casual. It’s not that I want people to walk on eggshells now, but it’s very different. I remember when I came in—it was like you absolutely could not hit one move that someone else does, male or female.

Or wear someone’s color. So you couldn’t wear red because of The Bellas or even Eva Marie at that time. You couldn’t have studs because of Paige. It’s just different.”

While speaking to Katie Nolan, WWE star Charlotte Flair (who just turned 40) commented on how she feels about the idea of retiring from wrestling…

“I feel like in our industry—or my industry—men don’t reach their prime until 40.

I didn’t win my first title until I was 30. Whereas now, which is awesome, a lot of people are in their younger 20s. But I graduated, had the awkward 20s of not knowing what to do, and then wrestling came later in life.

But saying that men don’t hit their prime until 40—why am I not hitting my prime now? I don’t look at it like that. Yes, I realize it would be easier for people to label me in that box, but I’m not going to let anyone put me in that box.

And I hope women in any profession who are about to turn 40 don’t think that it’s a slowdown or an endgame. If anything, in whatever industry you’re in—and in sports, like Lindsey Vonn did—it’s about what you’re capable of, what you’re willing to do, and the time you’re willing to put in.

I’m very fortunate—I started out on top. It might seem like my career is longer, but I’ve just had the opportunity to be at the top of the game.

Now I’m not going to say sorry anymore for winning. I’m not going to age out of my career—I’m going to quit when I want to quit. I’m going to lace it up when I want.”
