It was revealed on Smackdown Friday night that Hendersonville, Tennessee’s own Jeff Jarret would be the special guest referee for the tag team championship match at SummerSlam in Nissan Stadium when the Street Profits challenge The Uso’s. Will we see a guitar shot to the head? If so, whose head?

AEW closed Dynamite this week with a big surprise. Swerve in our Glory captured the tag team championships, dethroning the Young Bucks in a triple threat that also involved Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs. Those are the kind of surprises I love. Fyter Fest week 2 gets underway this coming Wednesday as Chris Jericho in his pain maker persona faces Eddie Kingston in a barbed wire death match with the Jericho Appreciation Society suspended above the ring in a shark cage. You know they’re getting out of that shark cage and making sure Jericho wins, right?
The Varsity Blondes play sacrificial lambs again this coming week. This time it’s to Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Brody King will face Dardy Allin and Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta of Blackpool Combat Club face Best Friends. It was announced this week that Claudio Castagnoli would get a ROH championship match against Jonathan Gresham.
