ASK TITO: Revised WWE Survivor Series Predictions, Matt Riddle in TNA?, Jade Cargill Injury, and More
For those getting angry over reading the Excellence in Column writing, get over it! It’s like the Kylie Minogue song “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” if your life’s story. Remember, at the end of the day, you’re yelling at a guy named after Tito Jackson who writes columns about scripted wrestling. Furthermore, you claim to hate my columns, but you keep coming back to Comment on them each and every time. Oh well, whatever makes those NoDQ banner ads load on your computer is good enough for me.
The reactions to my Thanksgiving Column are hilarious… You do realize that y’all took the bait, right? Late Wednesday night, I had no idea what I was writing as I’ve done the “what I’m thankful” column multiple times, along with something Survivor Series nostalgia themed. So I just decided to go negative for my own amusement and it got the nuclear reaction that I intended to get.
But some of you need a major REALITY CHECK when it comes to Women’s wrestling. You WANT that women’s wrestling is treated equally to men’s wrestling, but when someone treats them equally with fair criticisms going their way, you’re immediately offended. Wait, so you want them to be treated equally to men, but not criticized equally to men? Doesn’t make sense.
As I said before, the MARKS within the Internet Wrestling Community either consider women on WWE or AEW’s rosters to be either their sisters or long-distance girlfriends. Either way, they wanna kiss them and protect them with pure emotion.
Funny thing is that I’ve been the biggest promoter of women’s wrestling for 20 years. Go read my past columns where I cheered on Trish/Lita/Molly/Victoria/Jaqueline, where I supported the Bella Twins when everyone was calling them “sluts”, very supportive of the NXT boom in women’s wrestling, and have been very supportive of those great NXT talents joining the WWE (Charlotte, Becky, Rhea, Bianca, etc.). But I make simple suggestions like having the ring ropes lowered a tad for women’s wrestling or maybe that eyelid make-up is just too much because it subtracts from natural beauty, OMG tITo Ez AN SeXiSt!!!!!
Lately, all I’ve presented are facts that Women’s wrestling still needs a little more work to climb further up the card and that adding the US/IC Titles to their divisions is diluting their product. That’s it and I’ve presented facts to back up my case.
So SCREW YOU, haters… Y’all need to CHILL OUT and don’t read my columns if you apparently don’t like them.
BUT YOU SECRETLY DO. It’s always funny to me how my biggest repeat customers are the ones who claim to hate me the most. You always come back to daddy because you’re fascinated with what I’ll say next and you ENJOY using me as a punching bag for whatever pisses you off in your real life. That’s right, I can FEEL your anger, folks. It gives you focus, makes you stronger…
Don’t like my columns, don’t read them. Piss off!
But if you do like my columns, thank you so much for reading and not repeatedly violating the one golden rule of “don’t be a d*ck”.
And if you want to talk to me more about pro wrasslin’, follow me on Blue Sky. I just joined it for the hell of it, provided that many from X/Twitter are fleeing that site post-election. So far, the conversations have been fun and I’m open to chatting on Social Media again as long as everyone is professional. The second the darkness arrives and just throws toxic crap my way, we’ll button up that access as well.
If you want to ask questions on there, they could appear in a future Ask Tito column, too.
ASK TITO: Your Questions, My Answers
Thoughts on Matt Riddle debuting with TNA wrestling?
Eh, unless TNA wrestlers appear on NXT, I don’t care about this promotion. Period. I don’t have time to monitor additional promotions beyond WWE and AEW, especially when it’s a chore to actually find where your shows are located.
For me, it’s a TRUST issue with Matt Riddle. There was just always an issue and always some drama brewing with him. Very talented wrestler, no doubt in my mind… But always something dramatic going on and it seemed as though WWE gave him multiple chances.
But hey, that’s what promotions like TNA, MLW, and many other independent promotions and overseas promotions can provide. A chance to rethink and retool yourself as a wrestler. No comparing their issues to Riddle, but Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles did their own thing for years and became better wrestlers for it. Get out there, figure yourself out, and also mature a little bit. Then, the promotions will want you as a hot free agent.
I wish him the best, but my interest in him is low at the moment because he appeared to not want a successful WWE career after a while.

What is your take on the Jade Cargill injury reporting saga?
I don’t care… Injury or not, I’d use it as a chance to get Jade back into the Performance Center and possibly train her for YEARS.
Sorry, but she doesn’t “have it”. She lacks confidence inside the ring, doesn’t know selling or psychology, and her muscles are cosmetic more than they are about strength. I’d put all of my money on Bianca Belair defeating her in an arm wrestling contest because Belair is legitimately and athletically strong whereas Jade is just shredded for the looks.
Make no mistake about it, Jade looks incredible… Walking action figure or superhero. But her in-ring ability is limited and lacks confidence, and that is what gets other wrestlers injured. She’s not ready and it’s a shame that other well trained wrestlers have to slow themselves down just to sell for someone who appears to be wrestling in 2 left shoes.
At this moment, I’d use Jade to put over Bianca and not the other way around, as some reported plans have indicated were supposed to happen in the long-run.

What are your thoughts on Tony Khan’s comments on “most of the top black wrestlers in the world are in AEW”?
Identity politics are used in pro wrestling, too… For one, Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin are older and are near 50s or are within their 50s. The idea that WWE decreased their use because they were black is clueless… When Lashley was champion, he wasn’t drawing. Their merchandise wasn’t moving. It’s the reason why both Lashley and Benjamin have been in and out of the WWE for many years. Good inside the ring, but not as strong outside of it or during speaking segments.
And if you’re other examples are Swerve Strickland and Ricochet… For Ricochet, WWE gave him every opportunity in the world but the guy was purely a spot machine and not willing to perform other variations of his style… You know, with selling and psychology to do LESS rather than MORE inside the ring. Ricochet fits that PWG style that the Young Bucks think is great and that’s 10 moves per minute without much selling.
For Swerve Strickland, he was a Vince McMahon release but let’s be totally honest… Was he a draw as AEW Champion? His timing becoming champion was terrible, but it’s not like he stopped the bleeding of nearly 250,000 AEW Dynamite viewers lost. People aren’t tripping over themselves to buy any Swerve merchandise, either.
I love me some Mercedes, but she isn’t the same in AEW versus what she was in WWE as Sasha Banks. And that’s with Vince McMahon’s destructive booking.
WWE has Bianca Belair and the Rock… Many would argue Jade Cargill, who left AEW to join WWE. Naomi is pretty good as well… I like the Street Profits and both have potential for the future.
BUT NOTICE SOMETHING… The wrestlers that Tony Khan boasts about are all free agents… Lashley, MVP, Benjamin, Swerve, Ricochet, and Mercedes… All WWE castaways whom Tony has potentially overpaid as proven by how they aren’t drawing that well in AEW. Isn’t that funny?
Aside from Jade, the WWE recruited their black wrestlers and gave them opportunities to join the WWE roster. You could argue that Vince McMahon or Triple H didn’t use them well, but I could argue many white, Hispanic, Asian, or female talents that they used poorly as well. But then I could show you many from that select group that did well, too.
Fact is that Tony Khan is an immature brat who needs to shut up and work harder behind-the-scenes to make his company better. Running your mouth publicly makes things worse.

Any updates to your WWE Survivor Series Predictions?
Oh boy… I’m really rethinking my OG Bloodline vs. “New” Bloodline prediction where I suggested heel turns would be in order to help the “New” Bloodline win. No offense to Vancouver or the entire country of Canada (sorry about those 25% tariffs being added to your products, that’s out of my control), but this isn’t a big spot to fly in the Rock to do a major angle nor is it time to do something with Heyman or CM Punk, yet.
I’m agreeing with the NoDQ Review crew and the big angle that sets up Wrestlemania 41 will air on episode #1 of RAW on Netflix. That’s when stuff will be revealed, possibly that the Rock and Paul Heyman made a deal together. Something like that?
I am now leaning OG Bloodline wins cleanly over “New” Bloodline as a smokescreen for what may come later…
Rhea’s team will win and that will build up Rhea possibly winning the Rumble to go after Liv at Wrestlemania 41.
I had Gunther defeating Damien Priest, whom I wouldn’t make World Champion without some major revisions to his character and persona.
With the other matches, I think that the LA Knight train is running out of momentum and it’s time for a change. Nakamura wins and celebrates with his new music, which is OK… But the original theme music he had was incredible and I don’t get why they changed it.
I’d expect Bron Breakker to retain his IC title against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. Ol’ Ludwig should get a title, alone, for taking ol’ Tiffany to Poundtown.

Are you excited for the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event?
Eh, I think we have too much WWE product out there, to be honest. If both RAW and Smackdown are 3 hours each and we have monthly PLEs, there’s too much product.
In an obvious attempt to keep the Comcast money gravy train running, they’ll do what they can to put up a reasonable looking show but I think with each additional show, the format and formula will get tired.
The real issue with the Comcast deal is what happens if the USA Network is spun off into another corporation separate from Comcast or possibly sold off.
If Jesse Ventura is doing color commentary, I’d consider watching… Don’t know what it is, but I love hearing him speak even if it’s complete nonsense or conspiracy. That voice is just so cool and comforting in a wrestling setting. If only Gorilla were still alive, I’d be in heaven if both were still alive.
