WWE ring announcers reportedly swapping brands heading into Netflix’s premiere of RAW

In December of 2024, WWE started teasing a “Superstar Shakeup” for the RAW, Smackdown, and NXT brands in January of 2025. It appears that wrestlers are the only people changing brands as Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“PWInsider.com is told Lilian Garcia is expected to handle the ring announcing for Friday Night Smackdown tomorrow, so one would think she will be working that brand going forward. We are told Alica Taylor will be shifted to Raw to handle the ring announcing there going forward starting with the Netflix premiere.”

Garcia returned to WWE in the fall of 2024 as a replacement for Samantha Irvin.
