WWE reportedly wants to hit one million viewers for NXT’s premiere on the CW Network

WWE NXT moves to the CW Network on Tuesday, October 1st with a show that will feature CM Punk and The Miz along with Roxanne Perez vs. Guilia for the NXT women’s title. A former TNA Wrestling tag team is also rumored to appear at the event and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated they are “expected to start imminently” in NXT.

According to Meltzer, the show is being loaded up as there is a goal of hitting one million viewers. In regards to The Bloodline appearing on NXT this past Tuesday, Meltzer noted the following…

“They really want the idea out for CW that any main roster star could show up unannounced or announced. We’re told another change in the show with the move on 10/1 is that it has to end at 9:59 p.m. because so many of the CW stations have news at 10 p.m., so no more overruns.”

At this time, around 5,440 tickets have been distributed for the NXT show in Chicago.
