WWE reportedly released several staff workers on May 1st 2025 including creative team member

It was reported by PWInsider.com that a number of WWE staff members were released on May 1st 2025 with one notable name including including Senior VP of Creative Writing Operations Christine Lubrano. Lubrano “was tasked with overseeing all strategic operations for the company’s creative division. The RAW, SmackDown, and NXT creative teams reported to both Lubrano and Bruce Prichard, who reported to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted that Andrew Karr, who had done social media and documentary work for over nine years in WWE, was also part of the cuts.

According to PWInsider, the belief is that at least 10-12 staffers were let go. There were reportedly cuts in several departments including creative services, photography, and more.
