WWE reportedly planning to book Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena against AEW All Out 2025

Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE will be adding a PLE in September on the same day as AEW’s All Out PPV event. In an update, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following during Wrestling Observer Radio

“It can change, but the main event for this show is Brock Lesnar and John Cena. So, it’s a big one. Which is why Brock’s not in Paris—because of this. They wanted him for this show, not for the Paris show, and that’s where Logan Paul got the gig.”

“Anyway, that could hurt them. Of course, if you really want to watch both, you can, but it’s also like seven hours of wrestling in a single day, which is way too much. AEW would probably start—well, who knows—earlier. The times will be interesting, and there’s going to be some jockeying there. But at the end of the day, what’s the worst-case scenario? They cost them 25,000 buys—maybe more—but okay. At 25,000 buys, you’re costing them about three-quarters of a million dollars. That’s significant money, but guess what? They’re making $180 million in TV this year. How much are you really hurting?”
