WWE reportedly moving forward with Wrestlemania 41 plans as if The Rock will not be appearing
At the conclusion of the 2024 WWE Bad Blood PLE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprise appearance on the stage as Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes were in the ring. Following the event, it was reported that there are currently not plans for Rock to have a match at Wrestlemania 41 as his “schedule got too heavy.” However, The Rock publicly stated “don’t believe any of that bullshit“ to a fan on Instagram.
In an update on Rock’s status for Wrestlemania 41, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda.com noted the following in a post via Twitter/X…
“WWE has decided to move forward in creative plans as if The Rock will not appear at WrestleMania 41, as of now. I have been informed that these plans could ‘change at any moment,’ and WWE is definitely interested in using him if he becomes available, but he is not currently scheduled to compete.”
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com responded to Featherstone’s post with the following…
“I see a bunch of people posting The Rock’s Instagram comments from months ago in his replies. He’s the Rock and ultimately he can do what he wants, but this post is correct and has been for quite a while.”
