WWE reportedly has no creative plans in place for Royce Keys for the time being

As seen during the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Royce Keys (formerly Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW) made his debut with the company in the men’s Rumble match. Since then, Keys has wrestled in dark matches but has not appeared on television, other than clips being shown from his interview with Stephanie McMahon.

During an episode of WrestleVotes Radio, it was noted that no creative plans are in place for Keys for the time being…

“Nothing. Big question mark. Absolutely nothing. You know, we had speculated that SmackDown was the place for him. It certainly does still seem like that’s going to be his home. I know he was backstage Friday night. Saw some pictures of him. Don’t know when he’s showing up on TV. Hopefully, they have an idea.
