WWE reportedly discussing the idea of Roman Reigns dropping the unified world titles
Roman Reigns will be defending the unified WWE Universal title this Saturday night against Drew McIntyre at the 2022 Clash at the Castle PLE. Leading up to the event, Reigns has been a slight betting odds favorite to retain his title.
Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following about Reigns’ title reign…
“For the first time in a long time, there has been some discussions creatively regarding Roman Reigns dropping the title(s). I’m hearing multiple ideas have intrigued those making the final call come Saturday in Cardiff. Should be an interesting week ahead…”
Reigns has been the Universal champion since the Payback PLE on August 30th 2020. It has been the longest reign in the championship’s history and the sixth-longest world championship reign in WWE history.
