WWE Producer responds to claim that Ricochet’s social media posts “infuriated” people in WWE

This week, AEW star Ricochet criticized WWE on Twitter/X by saying the company “kills legacies and love of the sport.” Ricochet wrote in one post, “I’d argue El Generico has a better legacy than Sami Zayn.”

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that Ricochet’s comments “ended up infuriating a lot of WWE people.” WWE Producer Shane “Hurricane” Helms responded to this claim with the following message…

“I saw people kicking babies, catering got set on fire, Gorilla monitors were smashed to pieces, it was a f’n calamity I tell ya. 🤷🏻‍♂️”

Helms also stated the following…

“He [Ricochet]’s entitled to feel anyway he wants, he’s earned it. I loved working with Ricochet. My post was about the ridiculous claim that people were ‘infuriated.’ And fans getting worked by dirtsheets is a wild level of corny.”
