WWE NXT’s Kelani Jordan wins the TNA Knockouts title after Ash by Elegance relinquishes it

TNA’s Victory Road special was originally set to feature Ash by Elegance vs. Masha Slamovich for the Knockouts title, but Slamovich was pulled due to domestic abuse allegations. During the broadcast, Ash relinquished the championship after stating that she is “longer able to compete” and will be “stepping away from in-ring competition.”

Following a battle royal, Kelani Jordan defeated Lei Ying Lee to win the vacant championship. Indi Hartwell, who served as special referee, will now challenge Jordan for the title at Bound For Glory on October 12th.
