WWE news items regarding Adam Cole, Bianca Belair, and Elias

Here are some WWE news items from Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com and this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter…

* Adam Cole’s WWE contract extension reportedly ends today and he has no non-compete clause. Meltzer noted that “those close to Cole have said has not decided on his future, which would be either AEW or WWE main roster, but Vince McMahon definitely wants to keep him.”

* As previously noted, it was reported that Bianca Belair’s quick loss to Becky Lynch was not intended to be a “burial” of her character. Dave Meltzer backed this up and wrote that “the idea was by beating her fast you were supposed to get sympathy on her with the idea that she didn’t deserve that.”

* In regards to the “Elias is dead” vignettes, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that the idea is Elias proved he can entertain but now he’s going to go after championships and prove he can wrestle.
