WWE makes announcement regarding the future of the NXT Title

As previously noted, Samoa Joe relinquished the WWE NXT title just two days before the beginning of the NXT 2.0 era.

In a video published to his YouTube channel, NXT commissioner William Regal announced that the scheduled #1 contender’s fatal four-way match for this week’s NXT episode will now determine the new champion. The participants are Pete Dunne, Tommaso Ciampa, LA Knight, and Kyle O’Reilly.
