WWE has reportedly “batted around the idea” of a reunited Hurt Business getting a new member

As previously noted, WWE has been teasing the reunion of The Hurt Business. In recent weeks, MVP has been interacting with Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin. The group has not yet been “officially” reunited.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE has “batted around the idea” of NXT’s Carmelo Hayes joining the faction. Meltzer noted that it discussed but “not definite” and added that “there has been talk of Hayes coming to the main roster.”

Hayes isn’t expected to join the main roster until after Wrestlemania 39 weekend at the earliest. The belief is that Hayes will challenge Bron Breakker for the NXT world title at the 2023 Stand and Deliver PLE.
