WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray issues response after being referred to as “that one insufferable old guy”

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray aka Bubba Ray Dudley made appearances at the NXT Halloween Havoc PLE and the November 6th 2024 edition of NXT in a tag team match with Trick Williams. In a post via Twitter/X, wrestling analyst Jim Valley of F4WOnline.com was critical of Bully. Bully responded and here was the exchange…

Valley: “It seems like every generation has that one insufferable old guy who hangs on for their own ego and not to help the business. Right now that guy is Bully Ray. He’s not helping young talent or the business. He’s about Bully Ray. He always has been. Bully Ray is insufferable.”

Valley: “Tell me: what does beating Bully Ray in 2024 mean? I don’t hate him. I just think he’s more valuable making rare appearances. Wrestling is a young man’s business. Don’t be the old guy at the college party.”

Bully: “Jim, I made a save on a PLE and have been on TV 2x in the past year…all within 3 weeks. How much more rare would you like? You’re just mad a show I was lucky to be a part of came onto your fave Co’s night and beat you in the ratings. Cry me a river.
