Will Ospreay’s injuries leading up to AEW All In: Texas said to be “worse than he thought”
As seen during the AEW All In: Texas PPV event, there was an injury angle involving Will Ospreay. Gabe Kidd delivered a piledriver to Ospreay on the floor. After that, Claudio stomped on a chair that was wrapped around Ospreay’s neck.
Fightful reported that Ospreay has been working banged up and is expected to take some time off from television. In an update on Ospreay, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…
“Ospreay has been hurting for a while, and the idea for a while was to go through All In and then rest. His injuries ended up being worse than he thought. There is no time frame on how long he’ll be out of action as he’ll be seeing a doctor in the U.S. next week to be fully checked out then he’ll have a better idea how long he’ll be out.”
Ospreay is currently featured in advertising for Forbidden Door on August 24th but his status for the show is now uncertain.
