What was said between The Rock and Cody Rhodes during the February 21st 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown

As seen during the February 21st 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that Wrestlemania 42 will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 11th and April 12th 2025. Rock then called out WWE champion Cody Rhodes to the ring.

Rock praised Cody but then said he wanted Cody to be HIS champion. After bringing up his power with TKO, Rock brought up how he has way more Instagram followers than Cody and wants to see Cody reach his level. Rock said he wanted Cody to think about things and then make a decision to his face at the Elimination Chamber PLE. Rock finished the segment by saying that he wanted Cody’s soul more than anything else.
