What Seth Rollins said to Cody Rhodes during the 2/12/24 edition of WWE RAW

As seen during the February 2nd 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown, Cody Rhodes seemingly stepped aside for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to face Roman Reigns at WWE Wrestlemania 40. Despite this, Cody ended up choosing Reigns as his opponent for Wrestlemania at the Kickoff event.

During the February 12th 2024 edition of RAW, Cody cut a promo and addressed his decision. Cody brought up the “We Want Cody” movement and showed footage of Rock calling fans “Cody Crybabies” on The Pat McAfee Show. Cody brought up being slapped by Rock and noted that he will be hitting back.

Seth Rollins ended up coming to the ring and said that the deck is stacked against Cody even more because of Rock being with Reigns. Rollins stated that Cody doesn’t have to fight alone and then Rollins said the following about Reigns…

“The man Roman Reigns is is partly my fault. Nearly twelve years ago, we came down those stairs in tactical vests. We were brothers forged from the same fire. I taught him everything I know. I am partly responsible for the man that he is. But I could have never imagined the monster that he has become. And now that monster’s got two heads. Because he is standing side by side with the only person on this planet who is as entitled and selfish as he is. But when it comes to fighting The Bloodline, when it comes to fighting The Rock, when it comes to fighting Roman Reigns, there is only one man on Earth who is uniquely suited to be your Shield.”
