What is being said in regards to the lack of Smackdown matches for Hell in a Cell
With only one episode of WWE Smackdown left before the 2022 Hell in a Cell PLE, all of the matches scheduled for the show are from the RAW brand. In regards to The Usos vs. Riddle and Nakamura possibly being added to the card, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com wrote that as of midweek the plan was for the match to be part of Money in the Bank on July 2nd.
Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following about the situation…
“The lack of SmackDown matches currently advertised for this weekends Hell In A Cell event speaks volumes. It’s an indictment on the roster a source says. While the ‘brand split’ isn’t ending, for all intents and purposes, it’s shot.”
