What is being said about AJ Styles’ ongoing hiatus from WWE television

AJ Styles hasn’t wrestled on WWE television since he lost to Cody Rhodes at the 2024 Clash at the Castle PLE. Since that time, Styles has continued to work at live events and had his last match on August 29th against Cody. According to Fightful.com, Styles is “healthy” and it’s just of matter of WWE not using him on television for the time being.

PWInsider.com noted that there were initially plans for Styles to make his return to WWE television in August. However, company reportedly had already finalized creative plans and decided it wasn’t the right time to bring Styles back.

At this point, there is no word regarding when Styles will make his return. Styles turned 47 years old in June.
