What happened during Gunther vs. Jey Uso at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on 1/25/25

Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso for the world heavyweight title took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25th 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Gunther immediately took Jey down with a big boot. Jey tried to fight back but Gunther sent Jey to the outside with a chop. Jey was brought back into the ring and Gunther continued his dominance. Gunther gave Jey a powerbomb but Jey was able to kick out.

* Jey was eventually able to make a comeback. Jey gave Gunther a powerbomb out of the corner but Gunther was able to kick out. Jey took down Gunther with a spear but Gunther once again kicked out. Jey hit another spear and then came off the top with an Uso splash but Gunther kicked out yet again. Jey went for a third spear but Gunther countered with two powerbombs and won the match.
