Warner Bros. Discovery denies claim that Brody King was kept off AEW Dynamite due to “F*ck ICE” fan chants

During the February 4th 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, fans chanted “F*ck ICE” (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as MJF’s match with Brody King began. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that the call was made not to have Brody on the show this week due to the possibility of more “F*ck ICE” fan chants in Southern California. The decision was said to have come from “above” AEW President Tony Khan.

Warner Bros. Discovery issued a statement regarding the matter…

“Warner Bros. Discovery did not have any involvement in Brody King’s upcoming AEW schedule. Any speculation to the contrary is categorically false. Brody is scheduled to appear during the next AEW event, which will air this Saturday on TNT and HBO Max.”

Fightful.com also stated that “when we also reached out to sources in AEW, who said that the first they had heard of the situation was when the rumors had emerged.”
