Viewership numbers for the final WWE Smackdown on FOX with competition from AEW Collision

The September 6th 2024 edition of Friday Night Smackdown was the final show on FOX and had direct competition from AEW Collision. According to WrestleNomics.com, Smackdown drew 1.770 million viewers with a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demo. Collision drew 157,000 viewers with a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demo and while in preemption, it was the least-watched episode of Collision in the show’s history. Rampage, which followed Collision, actually drew higher numbers at 233,000 viewers with a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Wrestlenomics noted the following…

“Smackdown was #1 in P18-49 on broadcast as usual, despite delivering the second-least watched episode in its five-year run on Fox. The only episode lower is the Dec. 29, 2023 ‘Best of’ episode which was mainly re-aired content.”

Collision aired on Friday due to the All Out PPV taking place on Saturday. This Friday’s Smackdown will begin its run on the USA Network.
