Viewership numbers are in for WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite from October 8th 2024
The October 8th 2024 edition of WWE NXT aired on the CW Network from 8:00 to 10:00 PM Eastern. In NXT’s second hour, the show went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite’s “Title Tuesday” which aired from 9:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern.
Here are the viewership numbers for both shows…

Average Viewers: 874,000
18-49: 0.24 (318,000 viewers)
Dynamite
Average Viewers: 329,000
18-49: 0.10 (128,000)
One year ago, the “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite drew 609,000 viewers with a 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demo while WWE NXT drew 921,000 viewers with a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Regarding the viewership numbers, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com noted via Twitter/X…
“Week 2 of NXT on CW was only barely down from the premiere last week, despite half of the show going head-to-head with Dynamite in preemption on TBS. Dynamite’s, bumped for MLB playoffs, recorded its lowest rating in its history, preemption or not.”
