Update on Wardlow after he appeared to have hurt his knee during the 1/31/24 edition of AEW Dynamite
As seen during the January 31st 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow seemed to have hurt his knee while going for a powerbomb on Kommander. After the match, Wardlow was moving awkwardly around the ring and appeared to be frustrated.
Wardlow provided an update after Dynamite ended…
“A normal man’s knee would be ruined. I’m no normal man. I’m still coming for the heavyweight title. And there’s nothing and no one that can stop me. Knee is just fine 🐺 #AEWDynamite.”
On Wednesday night, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed the situation…
Alvarez: “Wardlow says he is fine. I have been told that it’s not fine.”
Meltzer: “I was told that he was hurt.”
Alvarez: “What I was told was, he’s getting checked out tomorrow. They think it’s possibly a torn Meniscus, but that he dodged a bullet and it wasn’t much worse and he’ll probably be alright. But he definitely is not ‘fine’. Something went wrong and he is being looked at tomorrow.” (quotes courtesy of WrestleTalk.com)
